How to Check Transmission Fluid Level

1. Park the Dodge Neon on a level surface.

5. Reinsert the dipstick into the transmission fluid tube.
6. Pull out the dipstick again and check the fluid level. The fluid level should be between the “Full” and “Add” marks on the dipstick.
7. If the fluid level is low, add transmission fluid until it reaches the “Full” mark on the dipstick.
